My experience was great,met Jay and he asked what he could do take make my experience better? I didnt think there was anything. He talked with my friend and myself and it was much appreciated. Its a definite ill be back whenever in omaha.
A laidback atmosphere, cozy and authentic. There are lots of options, which was nice to please everyones desires. The cashier was sweet and patient with us as we chose. Reasonably priced with the amount of food you get.
Jay took great care of us. We both had the special of the day, mac cheese loaded with brisket. It was delicious. Jay is friendly and makes sure his customers are taken care of. We would definitely eat here again.
Seems like a small family owned business, very good food. I got the beef rib sandwich and it hits the spot,with the meat fall off the bone . The jays potatoes were a like pan fried potato covered in cheese, not burnt but crispy. 1010 must try. Easy access from the Henry Doorly Zoo.
Stopped here before going to the zoo. The man who took our orders was so kind and patient. The food took longer than fast food, but nothing too long. It was fresh and AWESOME! The brisket and pulled pork sandwiches were so good, coleslaw was excellent, fried okra was yummy, oh and corn bread was good too. We would 100 eat here again.
Hands down some of the best BBQ in Omaha. Perfectly smokey and sweet, sandwiches are picnic perfect and the sides are all good. Everything Ive had on the menu is good, you cant go wrong.
